لأن التعليم لا يقتصر على بناء العقول فحسب، بل يمتد إلى بناء القيم وصناعة الإنسان، استضافت جامعة بدر بأسيوط، من خلال مركز اللغات والتدريب، وبالشراكة مع لجنة التعليم والبحث العلمي ببيت العائلة المصرية بأسيوط، فعاليات المنتدى الحواري الأول تحت عنوان:
«التعليم من أجل السلام: رؤى وسياسات تنفيذية»
وشهد المنتدى حضورًا مميزًا لأكثر من 100 مشارك من القيادات التنفيذية، ورجال الدين، وأعضاء هيئة التدريس، والمتخصصين والمهتمين بالشأن التعليمي، في حوار مثمر تناول دور المؤسسات التعليمية في ترسيخ ثقافة السلام، وتعزيز قيم التعايش والتسامح، وترسيخ الانتماء والهوية الوطنية، بما يسهم في إعداد أجيال أكثر وعيًا وقدرة على المشاركة الإيجابية في بناء المجتمع.
كما شارك في المنتدى الأستاذ حسن عثمان، وكيل وزارة التضامن الاجتماعي بمحافظة أسيوط، نيابةً عن اللواء محافظ أسيوط، وفضيلة الدكتور عيد خليفة، وكيل وزارة الأوقاف بمحافظة أسيوط، إلى جانب الأستاذ الدكتور عصام زناتي نائب رئيس جامعة بدر بأسيوط لشؤون التعليم والطلاب، والأستاذ الدكتور محمد قاسم مدير مركز اللغات والتدريب ومقرر المنتدى.
واختُتمت أعمال المنتدى بمجموعة من التوصيات والسياسات التنفيذية التي تستهدف تحويل قيم السلام والتسامح إلى مما رسات واقعية داخل المؤسسات التعليمية، بما يعزز دور التعليم في دعم التماسك المجتمعي، ويؤكد أهمية الشراكة بين المؤسسات الأكاديمية والوطنية في بناء مستقبل أكثر استقرارًا وازدهارًا.
وفي جامعة بدر بأسيوط، نؤمن بأن الجامعة ليست مكانًا للتعلّم فقط، بل مساحة للحوار، ومنبرًا لنشر الوعي، وشريكًا فاعلًا في صناعة مستقبل يقوم على المعرفة، والانتماء، والسلام.
Badr University in Assiut Hosts the First Dialogue Forum “Education for Peace” to Promote a Culture of Coexistence and Belonging
Because education is not only about shaping minds, but also about building values and developing future generations, Badr University in Assiut, through its Language and Training Center, in partnership with the Education and Scientific Research Committee of the Egyptian Family House in Assiut, hosted the First Dialogue Forum under the theme:
“Education for Peace: Visions and Implementation Policies.”
The forum brought together more than 100 participants, including executive leaders, religious figures, faculty members, education specialists, and stakeholders, for meaningful discussions on the role of educational institutions in promoting a culture of peace, coexistence, and tolerance, while strengthening national identity and belonging to help prepare socially responsible and globally aware generations.
The forum was attended by Mr. Hassan Othman, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Social Solidarity in Assiut, representing the Governor of Assiut; Dr. Eid Khalifa, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Endowments in Assiut; Prof. Dr. Essam Zanati, Vice President of Badr University in Assiut for Education and Student Affairs; and Prof. Dr. Mohamed Qassem, Director of the University’s Language and Training Center and Rapporteur of the Forum.
The event concluded with a set of practical recommendations and implementation policies aimed at transforming the values of peace and tolerance into everyday practices within educational institutions, reinforcing the role of education in strengthening social cohesion and highlighting the importance of collaboration between academic and national institutions in building a more stable and prosperous future.
